1. REACHING FOR THE SKY:

World Maths Day(International):  The school is registered with www.worldmathday.com.  Due to active participation of the students, we are proud that the Vidyalaya name appears in the 'HALL OF FAME'  and ranked 12th in the world among other schools.

2. ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATIONS:

We celebrated the 42nd Annual Day with great pomp and show.  There was an enchanting performance by students of all classes.  The report of the Vidyalaya activities and achievement was presented with the help of a power point presentation by the Principal.  Prizes were distributed to students for their outstanding performance in all areas.  Dr. R. G. Nadadur IAS., Chairman VMC graced the occasion and blessed the children and Mrs. Janaki Nadadur was the guest of honour

 

3. QUALITY MANAGEMENT IN SCHOOL:

A two hour session conducted by Dr. A Senthil Kumar, Senior counsellor Education Excellence, CII Institute of Quality on "Quality Management in School".

4. INVESTITURE CEREMONY:

46 Leaders were honoured with badges and 16 core group members badges, were also given. The class leaders were given badges in their respective classes.  Shrr. S. Selvakumar, IAS, Project Director SSA (Sarva Sikhsa Abhiyan) was the Cheif Guest.  He is also the Nominee Chariperson of the Vidyalaya.  Cultural items were presented by the primary kids.  The program was compered by Ashwathi and Lohita of Class XII.

5. TECHNOTHLON:

Mental Aptitude Test was conducted for classes 9-12.  All  the students participated and thoroughly enjoyed the test organised by IIT Guwahati.

6. Guidance Course:

A team from TIME gave guidance for classes X-XII on various competitive exams, they also guided on how to perform well.

7. ADIEUS:

Students and teachers of the Vidyalaya bid farewell to Mr. Joseph, PRT on his retirement.

8. PROUD MOMENTS:

A trophy was awarded to the Vidyalaya as it stood third in producing Quality Results in AISSCE 2009. 

KVS awarded Certificate of Excellence for the  Vidyalaya's Performance in Class X & XII Borad Exams.

9.GRAND PARENTS DAY:

Grand Parents Day was celebrated  very grandly. Hon. Asst. Comm. Mr. D.T.S. Rao presided over the function.

10. HINDI MONTH CELEBRATION

Hindi month celebration from 14th September - the following competitions were held; recitation, speech competition & kavi sammelan for various classes.

11. ANOTHER FEATHER TO THE CAP

Anand .M selected for “Golden Elephant” children’s film festival at Hyderabad from 14-11-09 to 20-11-09.

Roahith Rajendran gets certificate of achiement for his project “life on strings” which was selected for think quest library.

Varun C. of class XI B bags the first place at the regional level science Quiz and has participated at national level.

12. NAEP

 Adult Education program:  skit competition, poster designing & guest lecture by Dr Poornima - an eminent gynecologist.

13. VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK

 Anand M of IXA secured the first prize in the Debate conducted by Power Grid Corporation.
