Integrity Club was launched on
04-07-09 – the day of Investiture ceremony. The school Prefect body
and the other leaders are the torch bearers of the club. They will be
assisting in conducting the club activities.
Further, the Integrity
club activities will be implemented through the K.V.M value club. As
per the manual provided (on the net), activities like the ones given
below:
ACTIVITIES
PLANNED:
1)
To observe and celebrate the important festivals of different
religions and groups of society.
2)
To organize talks / lectures by the students and teachers and
guests emphasizing values and also on biographies of great
persons who promoted / strive to promote communal harmony.
3)
To organize debates, seminars, kavi sammelans, group song,
quiz, essay, story, poem writing, slogan writing, poster and painting
competitions on the theme.
4)
To stage one act place having the themes of corruption and
unethical practices prevail in society – to create awarness against
these practices.
5)
To organize all faith prayers on different occasions in which
parents also will be invited.
ACTIVITIES
UNDERTAKEN :
1)
A detailed circular was sent to all the class teachers with
regard to the up keep of class rooms with minimum requirements and
proper
infrastructure and it was implemented immediately by the students with
the help of the class teachers.
2)
In the morning assembly class on duty presents
moral values as special topics.
3)
Value based thoughts are displayed in the classrooms by the
students.
4)
Important events and festivals are celebrated in the school.
‘Talks’ highlighting the importance are also presented in the morning
assembly.
5)
‘The twelve Values’ elicited in the Integrity Club are allotted
section wise. From class VI to IX. Class teachers would guide their
respective class children in making a display board with regard to the
value allotted to their class and also a presentation should be made
in the morning assembly. Class XI children are given the value
‘Eradicating corruption and unethical values’
